4.25 - Children's Animal Movies | Kate Winslet
This week we're reviewing THREE children's movies starring Kate Winslet! The first is Pride, a BBC TV movie released in 2004. This movie boasts a large cast with Helen Mirren, Rupert Graves, Martin Freeman, and Robbie Coltrane starring alongside Kate! While this just seems like a lackluster attempt at recreating The Lion King, we did love seeing real nature shots and hearing about how they made this live-action movie.
The second movie is The Fox and the Child featuring those two titular characters and no one else in a feel-good kids movie that Anne describes as "like a hug."
Last AND (spoiler alert) least of the day is the 2019 animated film Swift that just made us wonder why Willem Dafoe and Kate Winslet agreed to be in it.
